REDEMPTION

An ultra-rhythmic solo dance-concert in which Jamil Attar takes on the roles of dancer and musician in an incisive performance. The staging is designed to bring to life the richness of the vibratory, percussive drumming played live, inspired by the worlds of Nu-jazz and Drum&Bass. The electro-acoustic ambience of composer and producer Dilemma, with Jamil Attar at the helm of its in vivo performance, is a total spellbinding experience, thanks to the use of melodic and rhythmic interfaces recorded during a close experimental partnership between the two musicians. A choreography in which a furious dance plunges us into an experience that takes us out of the analytical control we possess, where the emergence of dance movement springs from a dramatization of impulsive energies revealed by Samson Milcent's magnetic lighting.
