REDEMPTION

An ultra-rhythmic solo dance-concert, INVICTĀ features Jamil Attar in the dual roles of dancer and musician, delivering an incisive and dynamic performance. The staging is designed to bring to life the richness of the live, percussive drumming, drawing inspiration from the worlds of Nu-jazz and Drum&Bass. The electro-acoustic atmosphere, created by composer and producer Dilemma, is fully realized through Jamil Attar's live performance, offering a captivating, immersive experience. This is further enriched by melodic and rhythmic interfaces developed during a close experimental collaboration between the two musicians.

The choreography drives us into a whirlwind of motion, where a fierce dance emerges from the dramatization of raw, impulsive energy. Guided by Samson Milcent's magnetic lighting design, the performance pulls us out of the realm of analytical control, plunging us into an experience where the movement itself becomes a force of its own.
